Better Connected

Better Connected

If you have a learning disability or autism, the Better Connected scheme can provide you with social opportunity and activities throughout the COVID-19 restrictions.

Cross Street Community Hub

At our Community Hub in Ware we offer a wide range of day activities for adults and young people who have a learning disability, and can support them in pursuing hobbies and activities, and developing their life skills.

Dreamcatchers Forest School provides children and young people with additional needs the opportunity to explore and enjoy the natural environment through hands-on play and team-building in woodland locations in Oxfordshire.

Guideposts Friendship Schemes support adults with learning disabilities to meet new people and develop meaningful relationships through a combination of one to one befriending, social group sessions and group outings.
GLADS Day Service

GLADS Day Service

GLADS offers a range of social and skill-based activities for adults with learning disabilities, mobility impairments and other conditions. Alongside cooking, fitness, craft and music, we also go on trips in the local area.

Guideposts Community Hub in Stroud runs a range of day activities for adults who have a learning disability, and can support them in developing their life skills, pursuing hobbies and activities, gaining confidence and getting involved in the local community.
Ware Community Activity Scheme

Ware Community Activity Scheme

Our Community Activity Scheme supports adults with learning disabilities to increase their independence, taking part in evening activities in small friendship groups in the local community in and around Ware.
