Guideposts run a number of services which provide support and social opportunity to people with a mental health difficulty:

Community Mental Health Services: Henry Smith House and South-West Hertfordshire
Guideposts’ supportive community working from our Hub in Watford, Henry Smith House, provides a supportive space for people with mental health conditions, with the aims to improve wellbeing, reduce social isolation, and help people to find a greater purpose in life.

Community Support and Connect
Guideposts Community Support and Connect provides one-to-one peer support and support groups for people who experience mental health issues, in south west Hertfordshire.

Complex Emotional Needs Coaching
Guideposts coaching service helping people with complex emotional needs to manage their day-to-day life and take back control, through psychologically informed telephone coaching.

CONNECT at Home
A friendly service for anyone looking for regular companionship, conversation and laughs, hobbies/activities, respite breaks, a listening ear or practical support with day to day living.

Forest School and Bushcraft
Guideposts Forest School and Bushcraft provides a comprehensive outdoor learning experience and opportunities for personal growth, for children and young people with educational, social, emotional and mental health needs.

Guideposts Carers Groups
We hold groups in south-west Hertfordshire for people who are carers of family members or friends with mental health conditions and autism, meeting monthly to listen and support each other.

Guideposts Coaching Services
One-to-one support for people with a range of complex needs, over the phone or via web consultation.

Stroud Sensory Room
A therapeutic space in the heart of Stroud, designed to stimulate, soothe, and engage individuals with sensory processing needs.

Talking Therapies Hertfordshire
Talking Therapies offers free, confidential psychological and wellbeing support for common mental health issues such as anxiety and depression for people living in Hertfordshire.
