Day Opportunities

Our specialist day opportunity services are designed to support people with complex mental health issues, dementia, or a learning disability.

Delivered through our community Hubs and outdoor gardens, we offer activities through the day, support you with your wellbeing, and can help give you a purpose in life.

These Hubs work with people with complex needs on a weekly basis, over a long time period. We currently operate 6 different hubs focused on supporting those with learning disabilities, mental health problems and dementia

What activities are on offer?

We run a wide range of activities at our hubs, all depending on what our members want. If you want to try something, we can make it happen! Members at our hubs can take part in:

  • Cooking
  • Arts & crafts
  • Gardening
  • Yoga
  • Fitness
  • Meditation
  • Games
  • Trips to the local area
  • Music
  • Independent living: digital skills, money management and more

Who can benefit from our day opportunity services?

Our teams can work with a range of complex needs, and are trained to work with people who may have mobility problems, hearing problems, sight impairment, and other disabilities.

We support anyone from the age of 18 upwards. There is no upper age limit – the oldest person who uses our services currently is 79!
