Dementia Carers Group

About the service

Our virtual Dementia Carers Group is a monthly support group running over Zoom.

Each month we invite a speaker to share their knowledge on a particular aspect of dementia. Everyone has the chance to ask questions and share their own ideas – after all, we are all experts by experience.

You can expect information and support from Guideposts staff and other carers as well as friendliness and humour too!

Who can join?

The Dementia Carers Group is open to anyone who plays a caring role for someone with dementia – as well as anyone who is interested in learning more about the condition.

You don’t have to be an existing user of Guideposts to join us – just request your place at the next meeting by using the form at the bottom. You don’t even have to live in the UK. In fact we’ve welcomed someone all the way from windy Chicago!

Thursday 4th February at 3:00pm

For our February meeting we’re are delighted to welcome June Hennell as our guest speaker.

June will tell us about her experience as a carer for her husband Brian, and what she finds most useful in her caring role. There will be time to ask questions and join the wider discussion.

To attend the talk and discussion, please register using the form below and we’ll send you the Zoom invite details.
