New Relationships Workshops for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism

Guideposts has started its first series of online Fear-less workshops this week, exploring relationships to enable people with learning disabilities and autism to feel more confident and be safer in their lives.

The story of how one volunteer went from blog writer to a key staff member within our marketing and communications team.

Group Volunteer: Becky

Becky is a volunteer for our CONNECT groups in Gloucestershire, as well as with the Dementia Wellbeing Hub. She lives with some difficulties in her own life, and we spoke to her about how her volunteering helps her overcome these.

Student Volunteer: Nice

Nice has been volunteering for Guideposts at our Community Mental Health Hub in Watford, Henry Smith House, since 2019. We spoke to Nice about her experience with us.
