INTERACT Workshops

INTERACT Relationship Workshops

A course of online interactive workshops to explore what relationships are, how to manage them, emotions within relationships, and how to keep ourselves safe.

The course is a combination of workshops and discussion groups, with opportunity to make new friends.

Current Status: Workshops are currently available through Better Connected.

How the Interact Workshops work

The project offers a series of up to ten weekly workshops that will each run for an hour followed by a short break and then a 30-minute discussion group.

Before the group starts each client will receive two one-to-one sessions with both the group facilitators. This is to support clients to feel comfortable and relaxed with us in the course.

Once the course has taken place, we will offer another one-to-one session for the client to review the course and offer us feedback.

The workshops will cover topics including:

  • What are relationships
  • Types of relationship
  • Emotions
  • Self-esteem
  • Mental wellbeing
  • Safety within relationships
  • Mate crime
  • Cyber safety

Each participant will also receive a care package of quirky items for the course!

Who can we support?

We support adults who have a learning disability or autism who want to develop their skills and self-confidence in relationships.

Why should I join?

Our principal aim is to help you gain the confidence and skills to go on to form lasting relationships, and live a fulfilling life with your chosen friendships.
