Guideposts Carers Groups
Guideposts Carers Groups
We hold groups in South-West Hertfordshire for people who are carers of family members or friends with mental health conditions, autism, meeting monthly to listen and support each other.
The groups meet in Watford and Borehamwood on a monthly basis, to offer each other mutual support and share their experience as carers, as well as having some light-hearted fun.

Current Status: Our carers groups, both online and in person, are open to all. Please get in touch if you’d like to come along, or have a chat on the phone first.
How the Carers Groups work
The groups meet in Watford and Borehamwood on a monthly basis, to offer each other mutual support and share their experience as carers, as well as having some light-hearted fun. In some sessions a guest speaker is invited to give information and knowledge to help with the caring role.
They provide a chance for carers to connect and support each other in a friendly environment, creating a safe secure space in which to share concerns, challenges, coping techniques, experience and knowledge.
All groups are run by Guideposts’ community mental health services team, based at Henry Smith House in Watford.
