Guideposts Adult Day Service [Dig ‘N’ Grow]

From their purposefully designed garden in Witney, Dig ‘N’ Grow equips adults with learning disabilities with new skills such as planting, woodwork, nature crafts and cooking, all in a safe and social setting.

We offer a range of social activities throughout the week for individuals with learning disabilities, mobility impairments and other conditions. Alongside cooking, fitness, craft and music, we also go on trips in the local area.

Lights Up

Offering people with memory problems including dementia and their carers the opportunity to enjoy activities together. These include painting and seasonal craft making, music, singing, dance, reminiscence and social outings.

Mates N Dates

A friendship network for adults with learning disabilities. We run social events across the county such as coffee mornings, park walks, barn dances, karaoke nights, nightclub events, and even speed dating.

Music for Wellbeing

This dementia friendly group gets people together to make music and sing.  No musical or singing experience necessary! It’s open to anyone who’d like to come along, everyone is welcome. Tea and refreshments. [Run by volunteers. Supported by Richmond Villages Witney and Guideposts Trust.]

OX18 Social Club

Based at our Guideposts Day Centre (GLADS) in Witney, on the Two Rivers Estate (opposite Sainsbury’s). We offer a range of social and leisure activities that vary weekly, and are decided upon by our members.

Young Carers

Guideposts works with Be Free Young Carers (Be Free YC) to help ensure young carers aged 8-24 living in Oxfordshire access the support they need.
