Befriending for Wellbeing

Befriending for Wellbeing

Be Connected: Be Happy: Be You

A friendly service for anyone looking for regular companionship, conversation and laughs, hobbies/activities, respite breaks, a listening ear or practical support with day to day living.

Currently operating in Gloucestershire, we cover Gloucester, Stroud, Dursley, Wotton, the Severn Vale and surrounding areas.

Current Status: We are able to meet outside, or to make home visits, taking measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 including wearing masks and regular hand-cleaning. We ask that windows are open for ventilation where possible.

About Befriending for Wellbeing

Befriending for Wellbeing aims to bring you help at home or locally with the little things in life that make a big difference.

Offering companionship, conversation and laughs, our reliable befrienders will be led by you, your needs and your aspirations.  They will get to know you, to be able to plan your time together.

This might be to listen and share conversation, activities or pastimes with you, to give practical support, or to be a companion for your loved one(s) so that you can have a respite break. Befrienders are available Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (except bank holidays). Regular bookings can be made for between 2 to 6 hours, weekly or every other week.
