Guideposts Henry Smith House is a supportive space with the aims to improve wellbeing, reduce social isolation and help to give people with mental health problems a purpose in life.

What is Henry Smith House?

Our Mental Health Services in Hertfordshire have been working for over 25 years to meet people’s different needs through using a person-centered and goal setting approach.

We provide a range of group activities offering social interaction, support, skills, training, cultural interests and leading a healthier lifestyle.
These include;

+ Discussion
+ Art & Craft
+ Healthy Life
+ Specialist Groups around Mental Health e.g. anxiety management
+ Mindfulness
+ Carers Support
+ Community Activity e.g. bowling, cafes, sports
+ Health and Exercise
+ Befriending
+ Client run groups including Self Help
+ Allotment

We can also provide one to one support:

+ Advice on Setting Goals + Signposting + Benefit Advice + A Listening Ear + Befriending

If you have a mental health issue, you can join us by self-referral or through your Social Worker, Psychiatrist or Community Psychiatric Nurse.
