Guideposts Ball Fairy Godmother Campaign

Fairy godmothers wanted!

Become a #FairyGodmother2022 and donate the £25 cost of a Carers ticket, or coach ticket to transport our members to the Guideposts 50th Birthday Ball for free!

Your donation will be directly helping a person with additional needs to have a great time celebrating – and they will be delighted with your support.

Guideposts Ball 2022 > Fairy Godmother Campaign

Once upon a time….

…there was a ball. In 2019 we hosted a special Guideposts Ball for people with learning disabilities & autism in Oxfordshire.

Not every person could get to the ball easily. So campaigned to find 40 Fairy Godmothers to cover the costs of those who need to pay for a Carer to escort them to the Guideposts Ball.

We were delighted at the local community response and all the people and organisations supporting our members to bring their escorts for the evening. All these fabulous donors helped us to succeed in providing an amazing experience with all the care they needed supporting them for free!

This year

This year’s ball promises to be bigger and better than ever – and we need your support to make it happen!

  • Could cover the cost of a carer to escort one of our members to the Ball
  • Could also fund the cost of transporting someone with mobility needs to the Ball

We would love to feature you on our Fairy Godmothers Gallery!  If you would be happy to please email with your photo.  We would love to share your generosity on our Fairy Godmother online gallery, and across our social media.

Sponsoring the ballroom

This year we are looking for someone to go the extra mile and sponsor the ballroom for £1,000. Your contribution will ensure that members with additional needs enjoy the best night of 2022!

Please contact to the Sponsor the Ballroom.
