Fairy godmothers found!
A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our Fairy Godmother Campaign 2022.
Over 70 people, organisations and businesses donated and waved their magic wands to help send our members to the Guideposts 50th Anniversary Ball! From one ticket to twenty tickets – every single donation has helped the people in our communities to go the Ball safely and with their Carer if needed.

Once upon a time…
…there was a ball. In 2019 we hosted a special Guideposts Ball for people with learning disabilities & autism in Oxfordshire.
Not every person could get to the ball easily. So Guideposts campaigned to find 40 Fairy Godmothers to cover the costs of those who would otherwise need to pay for a carer to accompany them to the Guideposts Ball.
We were delighted at the local community response and all the people and organisations supporting our members to bring someone to support them for the evening. All these fabulous donors helped us to succeed in providing an amazing experience for our members and their carers, for free!
This year
This year’s ball promises to be bigger and better than ever – and we need your support to make it happen!
- Could cover the cost of a carer to accompany one of our members to the Ball
- Could also fund the cost of transporting someone with mobility needs to the Ball
