Hourly rate: £17,004 pro rata (£8.72 per hour)

Can you help us improve the lives of some of the most disadvantaged people in our local communities, by helping them access the support, opportunities and skills they need to overcome social challenges and achieve greater wellbeing?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our popular GLADS Hub and Outdoor Wellbeing Centre in Witney where adults with learning disabilities meet (in person and virtually) to have fun, be creative, learn new skills and get out and about in the local community.
We are looking for creative, motivated and adaptable community focussed support workers to help us to deliver our exciting projects across West Oxfordshire.
You will work as part of a small but dedicated team and use your own initiative to deliver person centred support.
Experience of working with vulnerable people and/or children would be an advantage.
The ideal applicant should be enthusiastic and organised with excellent communication skills and have the ability to plan and deliver activities which provide a variety of experiences for the people who attend our services.
We are looking for people who just have the passion and drive to make a difference.
Full training will be given in relation to the job requirements.
All posts are subject to interview, DBS (CRB) check and pre-employment checks.
You will need to follow our updated health and safety regulations and work in accordance with all safeguarding procedures.
NVQ//QCF Health and Social Care Level 2/3 is an advantage but not essential
