Remembering Sport is a social group meeting monthly to share lively discussion about sport of all kinds, watch game highlights, and enjoy related activities.

About Remembering Sport
Remembering Sport is a volunteer-led group meeting monthly at the Kingsholm Stadium. We meet over lunchtime on the third or fourth Thursday of the month, depending on match fixtures at the stadium.
We watch highlights or have discussions together, with a buffet lunch and a cuppa. Sharing conversation and sport-related activities together gives the opportunity to form friendships with people with a similar interest.
Venue provided by Gloucester Rugby’s Community Charity.
What activities are on offer?
Group members are invited to suggest activities for the group. This often includes:
- Watching game highlights
- Lively discussion about sport and topics of the day
- Sports quizzes
- Guest speakers
- Excursions to places of interest
Who is Remembering Sport for?
The group is for anyone who enjoys sport, who would like to share their interest with like-minded people and make new friendships.
How to join?
Please get in touch if you’re interested in coming to Remembering Sport. We’ll arrange a time to meet or talk on the phone and you can ask any questions you have.
Once you are on the group list we will keep you updated with the meeting dates, and make sure we let you know if there are any changes.
There is a small fee of £3 to attend.
