Picnic Prep

Our Oxfordshire team will take any excuse…

Did you know?

July is National Picnic Month and here at Guideposts Trust we’re encouraging the community to get out and celebrate these warm summer days, rekindle our love and wonder of the great outdoors and enjoy some delicious food! The most notable, and largest, picnic ever held spanned 600 miles, crossing France from coast to coast and celebrated the millennium’s first Bastille Day in 2000.

National Picnic Month celebrates the history of this activity and the way it has been used to bring families, countries, and all humanity together – and this summer, Guideposts are getting involved.

This Thursday (26th July) members of our Oxfordshire team will be picnicking on The Leys, Witney between 12pm and 2pm and we encourage anyone that wants to join us to do just that – bring yourself, your lunch and a desire to seek sunshine & company 😊

Time: 12pm – 2pm

Place: The LeysOver time, we really want this to develop into a fun community event – we hope to encourage other local charities, businesses, friends , pets and anyone in the community who wants to, to come along as well! So please consider this your formal invitation from our Oxfordshire team to join in the first Guideposts Community Picnic and show your support 😊

PS: On the 26th July there will be pugs. This we can guarantee.
