Job Title: Community Support Worker – Mental Health

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £19,227

Location: Henry Smith House, Watford.

The role involves supporting clients with mental health problems at the centre and in the community across Hertfordshire, as well as supporting them to engage in activities training and opportunities. You will be working as part of a team to provide community services and opportunities to adults with mental health problems, their carers, and the wider community We deliver individually tailored programmes/activities and support people to meet their agreed personal goals and work in partnership with other community based services and service providers to ensure synergy across services. As part of the role you will act as a key worker for individual service users, compile reports and participate in reviews as appropriate. You will produce and maintain documentation including Star Recovery Plans, daily records, incident and accident forms.

Our service promotes recovery, independence and social contact and provides a signposting service for people who access our services.

You will be able to:

• communicate effectively with the individuals and their family/carers, as appropriate with due regard to confidentiality.

• Liaise with other professionals (e.g. health services, social workers, and other organizations)

There will be occasional evening and Saturday work (Saturday morning on Rota basis 3.5 hours)
