Community Hub Co-ordinator

Location:                  Stroud  

(occasional travel within Gloucestershire and to Guideposts head office in Witney)

Hours of work:        30 hours per week (Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri)

Salary:                       £24,000 FTE (pro rata)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Hub Coordinator to join Guideposts at our popular Community Hub in Stroud. If you are looking for a job that’s taps into your energy and motivates you every day, this could be the opportunity you are looking for.

We are looking for someone with a drive to support adults with learning disabilities to explore and achieve their potential. You will be interested in developing new ideas and working with the staff and volunteer team and service users to ensure that the Community Hub is a vibrant and rewarding place to be.

Our Community Hub Coordinator will need to:

  • have experience and knowledge in working with adults who have learning disabilities
  • communicate confidently with service users, their family and support networks
  • lead and work as part of a team of staff and volunteers
  • support and develop staff and volunteers to maximise their strengths
  • plan relevant and interesting programmes of activities with service users
  • create and review personalised support plans with service users
  • lead on service development and growth
