Support line: 0800 048 7035 (Open 9:00am-5:00pm weekdays)

You’re invited to become a Guideposts Trust Global Champion!

We’re on a mission to travel 21,976 miles by the end of 2021 – enough to get all the way around the world.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to walk, run or cycle a share of the distance and form an important part of that exciting journey.

Together, we’ll raise £25,000 to improve the lives of people living with mental health issues, disabilities and caring responsibilities.

However you get there is up to you. Skateboard, three-legged race or hot air balloon – it doesn’t matter to us. All that matters is that we get there, together. You can even team up with friends, family or colleagues to cover a larger number of miles and spur each other on.

Whether you’re a world-class olympian or a couch potato, it doesn’t matter. Everyone has a different level of ability, so you’ll set the target yourself. As long as it feels like a real challenge to you, that’s all that matters.

Your miles will be added to a live totaliser so we can track our journey across the globe. Our first virtual stop? Paris! Just 350 miles away, and we want you to help us get there.

About Guideposts

Guideposts is a UK based charity working with people, and local communities, to help them access the support, opportunities and skills they need to overcome social challenges, improve their wellbeing and change their lives.

We run a range of services that are focused on helping people to achieve their potential regardless of their circumstances. We connect people together so that they can experience the joy that comes from friendship, activity, learning, purpose and occupation. We love what we do and we love seeing people flourish.

Many of the people we support come from the most disadvantaged groups in our society, including children and adults with additional needs and disabilities, people with mental health problems, older people with dementia and other neuro-degenerative conditions, and the families or carers of all these groups. We believe that all people should be equally valued and have an equal chance to live the best life possible, that is why we do what we do.

Together we are the Guideposts community, helping each other to achieve better wellbeing.
