Become a Trailblazers

The Guideposts community are raising vital funds for our much needed community services by walking together around English country gardens. Why not join them and walk your way to wellbeing with the Wellbeing Trailblazers Team?
How does it work?
We’ve mapped a route over 3,000 kms long, starting at our outdoor wellbeing project in Oxfordshire and then travelling across 47 counties to visit some of England’s most spectacular country gardens. Of course, due to lockdown we can’t all gather to walk the route together so instead we’re walking it virtually by tracking our steps and distance.
How do I get involved?
First sign up on MyVirtualMission.com which will track your steps. When you go out for your daily exercise in your local area My Virtual Mission will add your distance to the Wellbeing Trailblazer total – helping us further on our route.
Secondly, set up a JustGiving fundraising page and ask your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor your walk. We’re asking everyone who takes part to raise £50 in sponsorship to help fund Guideposts community services.
How to sign up to My Virtual Mission
- Go to https://www.myvirtualmission.com/missions/47736/wellbeing-trailblazers-walking-to-english-country-gardens and click Join Mission at the bottom of the page.
- Then enter the code ‘GPT01’ to connect to the Wellbeing Trailblazers team.
- Now you can set up your personal account and link your fitness app by going to Account Settings at the top right of the page and selecting Connection.
How to set up your sponsorship page
- Go to and click Start Fundraising. Search for Guideposts Wellbeing Trailblazers and hit select.
- Now complete the form, the challenge is running until 25 May.
- Make sure you set your fundraising target to £50 – or more if you want!
- Don’t forget to share your page with your family, friends, neighbours and colleagues and ask them to donate.
