We currently only offer the service for individuals aged 16 and over who are registered with a healthcare provider in Hertfordshire.

Talking Therapies

We provide high-quality counselling tailored to specific mental health challenges, using a range of evidence-based psychological treatments endorsed by the NHS. Together, we will carefully explore your treatment options and recommend therapies grounded suited to you with clinical reasoning. Our goal is to deliver personalised care, ensuring that your support is thoughtfully tailored to your unique situation.
Who is it for?
NHS Talking Therapies is for individuals experiencing common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, or low mood. It provides accessible support to help individuals manage their symptoms and improve their overall well-being. This service is suitable for those seeking confidential, evidence-based psychological treatment in a supportive environment.
Currently the service is only available for people over 16 living in Hertfordshire. Users need to be registered with a GP practice in Hertfordshire.

How to access the service
To apply for NHS Talking Therapies, you can talk to your GP. They can refer you directly to the service or provide you with the necessary information to access support. Alternatively, you may be able to self-refer through the NHS website or local mental health services in your area. Once referred or registered, a mental health professional will contact you to discuss your needs and arrange an appropriate treatment plan.
